We had such a great weekend. We spent the weekend at the cabin with my family. It was so nice to get away after a few rough weeks of "moving stuff." We packed the kids up and headed out Friday afternoon and came home Sunday morning. I didn't get as many photos as I would have liked especially of the guys. (There was a lot of fishing and 4-wheeler riding that had to be done.)
On Saturday afternoon we took a trip to Mesa Falls, it's a beautiful place and I was thrilled with a chance to play with my camera. I got a few shots but it was so sunny and beastly hot that they aren't exactly what I wanted them to be, oh well. :)
BUGS
Let's just say Kayleigh has a problem with bugs! No, she's not really afraid of them but she doesn't really like them either. The problem is bugs LOVE Kayleigh. Last week she got 5 hornet stings in a matter of 6 days. Youch! Poor kid. The trip to the cabin didn't go well with Kay and her bug issues. The misquitos think she tastes great too. I think we were out of the car for about 30 seconds before a misquito took a nice big bite right on her forhead. THe poor girl had a huge welt all weekend long. Take a look, it's a doosey!
We always have such a great time when the Bell family comes to visit (especially at the cabin). I have feeling the Bells will be visiting the cabin with us again, and I would guess there will be a few more requests for Angies rotisserie chicken! Thanks Angie, all the food was FABULOUS! :)
That's all for today! I guess it's back to the undauting task of unpacking. I'm going to sneak in a bit of scrappy time today too! ;)
