We're getting a new house!
"We have a house hole" Kayleigh says! Just before Christmas they started on our house. We had the hole dug and the footings done before Christmas. Here's a picture of the "house hole."

A new chapter
...we're getting ready to start a new chapter.....we're MOVING...yup...we're moving again.
We moved into our home about 15 months ago and now it is time for us to move again, this home just isn't the right fit for our family. Soo....at the first of October we put our house on the market and on the 17th of October we had an accepted offer and we are set to close on or before the 12th of November. "So....where are you moving?" may be the question you are asking. Well, for now we are going to be living in an apartment. We're not super thrilled with living in an apartment but it will be just fine. We have a nice 3 bedroom apartment that will work great for us (for now) ;)
While we're living in the apartment we'll continue to look for another house or some land so we could build our own home. (I'm hoping for the latter...I'd love to build a house). So for now, we're packing boxes and looking forward to the our next adventure! Wish us luck! :)
As for the kids....they are actually excited to move into the apartment (I'm sure that will pass quickly).
Cole is LOVING school! He has the best teacher and is doing so well. He comes home from school happy and excited everyday! It's so nice to have him happy and content at school when we're going through a big change at home.
Kayleigh is...well, she's Kayleigh. I'm not sure how to explain that child. I love her to pieces and she keeps us hoppin' She always has something interesting to say. She's reading so well. She loves to read to Austin. She's a great big sister!
Austin is growing like a weed. I went shopping the other day and bought him 12 month clothes, I can't believe he's getting so big. He'll be 4 months old next week. He has the sweetest little smiles and is starting to giggle. He loves to sit in his swing and listen to Cole or Kayleigh read to him.
Here's a picture from earlier in the fall when we sent Justin Mack off to SC. We sure do miss him! It's not the greatest picture but it's not easy to get a picture with 6 munchkins and a Justin Mack holding still and looking at the camera at the same time!

The day this Mom has been dreading....
The first day of school is finally here and met with mixed emotions at our house. I surely wasn't ready for Cole to go back to school and I'm not sure he was ready either. He was excited but I could tell that he was also nervous, excited, scared, and a little sad. Just before he left he got teary eyed and said, "mom, I'm really going to miss my baby brother. I just don't want to leave him." Cole has been a great helper this summer with the new baby and I'm used to having him home to help with Austin and Kayleigh.
We had a good morning and got everyone ready and out the door so Cole could get to school on time. HE's excited for his new teacher and can't wait to get started with all the fun things he saw in his class room at back to school night.
When he came home today he was EXHAUSTED (early bedtime tonight)! He said that he had a lot of fun and loved playing games with his teacher and he couldn't wait to go back tomorrow.
So...I guess it's just mom that needs some convincing that it's okay for him to be back in school!

My baby is getting big...too fast
So...I took my little stink bug in for his one month check up and he's a whopping 9lbs 12 oz and 22 1/4 inches long. Yup...he's a growing boy, gaining 2+ pounds in a month.
Here's some pictures of my cutie pie, I'm one lucky mommy!

(He loves to snug with his mommy!)

Isn't he the sweetest little thing... :)

June CX assignments
Catcing up and getting back into the swing of things
Whew...having a newborn in the house sure turns things upside down, I'm lucky if I get a shower let alone have a few minutes to blog. Now that Austin is a month old (yikes, he's already growing up too fast!) I'm going to catch up a little with my blogging.
Here's a few scrappy projects I've been working on :)
THis layout is of Kayleigh Snow surfin at the cabin this spring. She was so funny...she thought she was so cool, she spent most of the time laying in the snow giggling after she fell down.

THis one is some older pics that I just got around to scrapping for a CX DT assignment. I used the Basic Grey Lime Ricky collection, perfect for some fun fair photos!

These are some of my favorite photos of my little Kay...we took them just before EAster this year, I love how they turned out. This is the first page i've scrapped using them...LOVE this page. I did this for the CX DT application.

We're almost ready!
THe count down is on! It's almost time for baby #3 to arrive. We've slowly been getting things ready and finally got the last of the baby "stuff" last night. We still have to put everything together but it's all here in the house. THe kids are so excited for the baby to be here. Mom is ready to not be pregnant anymore and Dad is getting ready for the big fishing trip and hoping the baby is good and waits until he gets home to make his entrance!
This is my favorite thing so far (I have a bit of a diaper bag fettish, I've been eyeing this one for weeks.)

Isn't it cute? ;)
